How to apply Screed X C25
  • Hack and roughen the concrete surface using wire brushes for a better bonding.
  • Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, and loose particles.
  • Mark the finished floor level clearly at multiple points.
  • Wash the surface with water, but do not let the surface dry before screed application.
  • Open the Screed X bag and mix it with the recommended water to get a smooth consistency.
  • Mixing shall be done thoroughly until a homogeneous, lump-free mix is achieved.
  • Do not mix with other products or materials.
  • Spread the screed uniformly up to the finished floor level.
  • Maintain a screed thickness of 10–40 mm, with a minimum of 10 mm under tiles.
  • Over this mortar bedding, Apply neat grey cement slurry (honey-like consistency) at 3.3 kg/m² over an area of up to 1 m².
  • The tiles shall be laid on the bedding mortar while it is still plastic, but has become sufficiently stiff to offer a fairly firm cushion for the tiles.
  • Apply a suitable primer(optional) before screed application to enhance bonding between the screed and substrate.
  • Curing should be done minimum for 3 days.
