Objective Summary
The objective of the Sales Executive is to effectively implement sales strategies developed by the Sales Head/Area Sales Manager, focusing on driving sales and fostering strong relationships with dealers through targeted engagement with architects, engineers, and contractors. The role is crucial for expanding market presence, achieving sales targets, and ensuring exceptional service and support to our dealer network.
Principle Duties
Implementing Sales Strategies:
- Execute sales strategies provided by the Sales Manager to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Engage with key architects; engineers; and contractors to generate leads and sales opportunities.
Appointment Scheduling and Planning:
- Collect contact details of architects; contractors; and engineers from different sources.
- Schedule appointments and create a visit plan for the following week.
- Publish the visit schedule in the group on Saturdays.
Client Visits and Reporting:
- Conduct client visits according to the scheduled plan.
- Update visit reports in the CRM system by everyday evening.
- Submit weekly reports to dealers; ensuring they review and follow up on Monday.
Follow-Up and Data Collection:
- Gather follow-up data from dealers and submit to the head office by Monday evening.
- Update the follow-up data in the group.
Building Relationships and Collaboration:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with architects; engineers; and contractors to drive product specifications and sales.
Market Monitoring and Feedback:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to provide feedback to the Sales Manager for strategy adjustments.
Sales Presentations and Support:
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to architects; engineers; contractors; and dealers.
- Offer technical support and training to dealers and their customers on product features and benefits.
Monthly Reporting and Discussions:
- Participate in monthly report discussions with dealers about sales growth; additions; and conversions of architects; engineers; and contractors.
- Prepare and present detailed monthly reports highlighting progress; challenges; and strategic recommendations.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries; resolving issues; and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Promptly follow up on leads and sales opportunities.
Collection of Receivables:
- Manage accounts receivable by tracking outstanding invoices and following up with clients for timely payment.
- Implement strategies to reduce overdue payments and minimize bad debt risk.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
